The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. Position Summary

We are seeking a part-time Student Research Worker at the School of Nursing to assist Dr. Billy Caceres and his team on various quantitative analyses that will use machine learning to identify patterns of health behaviors and social determinants of cardiovascular health among diverse adults.

Ideal candidates will have previous experience conducting health research and working in a team-oriented environment with frequent interaction with research participants, graduate students, and research staff.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct all research activities in accordance with study protocols and other appropriate institutional regulations, procedures, and policies, including procedures to safeguard the confidentiality of study participants.
  • Clean and process quantitative data;
  • Assist with the analysis of quantitative data;
  • Assist with database design, security, data storage, and management;
  • Complete literature reviews as needed; and

Perform other related duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications

  • Requires a bachelor's degree.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with machine learning
  • Organized and able to multitask in a diverse research environment.

Capable of working effectively in research groups.


Preferred Qualifications

Experience conducting health research.
