The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Assistant Dean of Academic Affairs/Program Director of the Master’s programs and working closely with the Clinical

Placement Director, the Senior Program Manager’s role is to independently oversee and manage the non-academic strategic plan and

operation of the Master’s programs.


Key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the efficient operation of Master’s academic programs.   
  • Oversee the financial and management analysis, reports, and recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and accrediting bodies and assist in the preparation of reports.
  • Supervise and evaluate assigned staff.
  • Keep current and advise the Assistant Dean on departmental, school, and university-wide polices and resources affecting programs, implementing these policies when appropriate.
  • Provide technical and/or professional coordination and leadership in the execution of day-to-day program/project activities, as appropriate to programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and/or requested. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education and experience and four years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in a related field strongly preferred. 
  • Prior experience working in an academic setting is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience working with nursing students, and familiarity with nursing education, the practice of nursing and RN licensing are preferred. 
  • At least 1 year of related supervisory work experience.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literate, with a solid background in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Word and Excel.  Knowledge of computer application, complex database systems and information retrieval. 
  • Ability to set goals and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and work successfully under pressure and independently, using excellent judgment and discretion and maintaining confidentiality at all times.
