Position Summary
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, the Senior Finance Analyst will support budgeting, reporting and finance operations activities for the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The candidate will interact with the Divisions, as well as with Department Senior Management.
Responsibilities
• Participate in the monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes, including preparation of accrual schedules and year-over-year variance analysis.
• Prepare School funds flow uploads and reconcile entries.
• Publish monthly compilation of reports relating to the financial operations including divisional finance dashboards.
• Participate in the annual budget submission, including preparing budget templates and uploading budget data in the Budget tool.
• Perform ongoing budget tool updates and adjustments as needed throughout budgetary cycle.
• Generate periodic financial reports as needed to support modeling of divisional growth.
• Compile reports related to financial operations as needed
• Participate in business plan and fair market value analysis modeling.
• Provide coverage and support for OBG Finance. Duties include, but are not limited to processing of vouchers, requisitions, travel and business expenses, and change orders in ARC.
• Review and approve procurement transactions within threshold (vouchers, requisitions, Concur report and p-card).
• Assist with daily reconciliation of Faculty practices’ Time of Service collections
• Assist with monthly bank reconciliation
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned/requested.
Minimum Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
• Master's Degree in Healthcare Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in a large complex academic medical setting.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Cutting edge skills with Microsoft Office suite and financial systems, including spreadsheet preparation and presentation.
• Self-starter with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and work independently.
