The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
 

Position Summary

A Senior Clerk position is available in Professor Yuval Neria's PTSD lab at the Columbia University Irving Medical Center/New York State Psychiatric Institute/Anxiety Disorders Clinic. The Senior Clerk will be working with a group of scientists and clinicians with diverse and interdisciplinary backgrounds. This position will be of interest to those who are keen on clinical trials research, online survey systems, and computational psychiatry.


Responsibilities

  • Maintaining study regulatory materials.
  • Assist the Principal Investigator in managing and auditing the data collection system for completion of tasks and entries (REDCap).
  • Contacting study participants and recording responses as per protocol guidelines.
  • Prepare weekly meeting minutes and assist in uploading protocols, applications and study documents.
  • Performs related duties & responsibilities as assigned/requested.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Two years of college or completion of secretarial school or equivalent business experience plus a minimum one to two years related work experience.


Other Requirements

  • Must successfully complete all online systems training requirements
  • Experience with REDCap system.
  • The ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to resolve technical problems and issues and to interpret the accuracy and completeness of data entries.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are required for working with the study participants.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organization skills and ability to prioritize a variety of tasks.
  • Careful attention to detail.
  • Ability to demonstrate professionalism and respect for individual’s rights and needs.

 

Preferred Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant fields (psychology, neuroscience, biomedical engineering, electrical engineering or related).
