Position Summary
The Research Assistant is a bilingual individual who will work at the Gertrude H. Sergievsky Center and the Taub institute for Research on Alzheimer's Disease and the Aging Brain. This incumbent will specifically function in the field work planned in all years of the investigation and will work with the Principal Investigator and the Project manager in the overall recruitment and data collection for the research studies; when necessary, the incumbent will travel to the site for completion of data collection and will insure the transfer of blood to the Human Genetics Resources Core Laboratory at Columbia University. He/she will also be trained to complete neuropsychological and family history interviews.
Please note this is an In-person position.
Responsibilities
Additional information: We will have a weekly meeting with the PI to review the work being done as well as a bi-weekly meeting with the project manager to go over day-to-day activities.
The research assistant needs to be able to determine participants who meet the criteria for the studies. Should be able to talk to participants without supervision, and plan and execute work trips.
