Position Summary

The position is to support a pilot study that exams the potential benefits and feasibility of a brief intervention to help decrease COVID-19 related distress for families with low resources.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates research data collection, prepares reports, establishes schedules, supervises collection, evaluates quality of data.
• Identifies and interviews and/or assess participants for study. Recruits, trains and supervises field work activities.
• Performs data related tasks including data entry, basic data management, and assists with data analysis and graphics.
• Assists the preparation of IRB submission and other administrative tasks as needed.
• Performs related duties & responsibilities as assigned/requested.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in education and experience required, plus 3 years related experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology, public health, or a related field
• Fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred
• Driver’s license is preferred
• Excellent writing skills, proficient in literature search, and computer skills in MS Word, Exel, Power point, Adobe, bibliography organization software, and other database software, or the ability to learn new software programs quickly.

Other Requirements

• Must successfully complete online systems training requirements
• Previous clinical research experience
• Some evening and weekend availability is required, and availability for weekend travel may be needed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as being a team player are a must.
