Position Summary

The incumbent assists with the planning and execution of a broad scope of student related
informational, professional development, curricular and co-curricular, incentive programming and
events across in-person and online modalities. The incumbent is specifically focused on the day to day
management, communication and logistical follow up for these academic programs with a wide range of
offices and constituencies. They will support and be part of a team that identifies and launches new
academic initiatives.


Responsibilities

  • Provides day to day administrative coordination for a wide range of events, programming,
    professional development, incentive programs and activities that span the student
    enrollment cycle, with a focus on current students and alumni. Examples include but are not
    limited to a wide range of event planning, as well as facilitating funding for student
    internships, career, and research related incentive programming.
  •  Provides detailed logistical support by engaging with a wide range of administrative
    processes, protocols and related databases with a focus on current students and alumni.
    Ensures follow up is complete by both people and processing systems for each task and
    project assigned.
  • Analyzes data, produces reports and engages in correspondence and communications with
    students, faculty, administrators, and others in pursuit of the above areas of responsibility.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or its equivalent, and at least two years or related experience, required. Excellent verbal and
    written skills required. Once goals, procedures and parameters are established in regular weekly
    supervision, must be able to work independently. Must be knowledgeable and adept in working
    in Microsoft Office programs with a focus on Word and Excel. Must have a strong customer-
    service orientation and demonstrate a high degree of tact, discretion, and diplomacy.
    Commitment to sustainability and addressing climate change desirable. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with higher
    education related databases desirable.
