Position Summary
Reporting to the Director, Alumni Career Management, and working closely with the Experienced Professionals Career Management team the incumbent’s responsibilities vary throughout the year, providing administrative support for alumni and EMBA career management and other projects, as well as performing administrative and operational tasks of the day-to-day operations of the Experienced Professionals Career Management team. The Program Administrator gives primary support to the career-related services and resources available to CBS alumni and current students. Additionally, the Program Administrator provides year-round support to students, administrators and recruiters who interact with alumni and with EMBA students.
Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or its equivalent required. Minimum of three years related experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience required. Some college or college degree preferred.
Excellent organizational skills and an ability to work simultaneously with changing priorities and on multiple projects. Excellent office skills including strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and solid experience with tables, importing and exporting files, and preparing presentation quality reports. Detail orientation is crucial. Outstanding oral and written communication skills. Professional demeanor essential. Must show work experience or proven interpersonal ability in a client-service and team-oriented environment. Some overtime required including early mornings, late evenings and select weekends with advance notice.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with databases a plus. Ability to learn new software quickly without formal training valued.
