Position Summary

Columbia Business School Executive Education (CBSEE) is a premier provider of learning and development for participants on a global scale.  We serve the public, private and not-for-profit sectors in a wide range of business programs. We reach our students through 3 primary channels: Open, Customized and Online Programs. All channels are experiencing growth with Online Programs forecasted to grow globally at a rapid pace.  The role of Operations Manager, Online and Digital Programs, will be paramount to ensuring current success and future growth.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Online and Digital Programs, the Operations Manager of Online and Digital Programs ensures the smooth running of both in-house online programs and those with partner organizations. This person will work with the entire Online and Digital Programs team on financial reporting, logistical activities, and customer support. Internally, they will liaise with the Finance and Purchasing departments as well as Human Resources and Learning Solutions to ensure the programs are supported throughout interdepartmental workflows.

Additionally, the Operations Manager will act as an advisor to participants, vendors and part-time support staff. This individual will demonstrate working knowledge of Executive Education portfolio and how to differentiate offerings between Executive Education’s online offerings and its peer schools. 

Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and/or its equivalent required. 2-4 years related experience required.

Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. Detail orientated and proven track record of taking initiative and can anticipate and prioritize tasks. Demonstrated ability to perform non-routine work, manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently, as well as within teams. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, and Internet utilization.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in an educational context, especially administering online educational programs. Interest in developing web content for online programs.
