Position Summary
The Manager of Executive Education oversees the planning and delivery of executive education and non-credit programs. Programs include both open enrollment and custom programs, and include both online and on-site delivery. CVN is the online learning department at Columbia Engineering that offers fully online graduate engineering degrees, certificates, non-degree and a suite of executive education programs.
Responsibilities
(35%) Manages the development and implementation of executive education, non-credit programs. Establishes and manages expectations with faculty, external vendors and administrators. Maintains and disseminates program delivery updates. Coordinates activities that support the successful delivery of executive education courses and programs.
(35%)Makes strategic decisions on marketing, recruitment and course progress that impact the success of the program Facilitates a seamless participant experience by monitoring course metrics and meeting with the University and External clients on a regular basis. Addresses program inquiries in a timely manner. Uses judgment and escalates issues as appropriate.
(15%) Manages outreach and marketing for executive education programs. Maintains marketing lists and creates marketing materials for executive education audiences. Organizes and presents at program events. Organizes and manages open houses, program fairs, webinars, immersions, online information sessions
(10%) Tracks and monitors program budget.Manages and tracks learner reports. Analyzes and presents on program KPIs
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors Degree required
Master’s Degree preferred and 2-4 years of related experience working in education setting preferred.
Strong computer literacy is required. Proficiency with MS Office and Google suite of products is required.
Understanding of adult learning or instructional design best practices
Strong work ethic with demonstrated collaborative and coordinative skills. Ability to work with large volumes of data and analyze reports
Strong attention to detail is a must. Possess excellent interpersonal and administrative skills Excellent communicator in both oral and written communication
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Positive, mission-oriented attitude. Must be willing to work occasional evenings and weekends, on a need basis
Willingness to investigate and recommend new technologies
