Position Summary
Under direction of the Pathology IT Services Manager and Director of Pathology IT, the Lead IT Support Analyst supports the technical infrastructure of the Pathology Department; maintains server environment; acts as a technical and problem-solving resource for department end-users; installs, maintains, troubleshoots and repairs computer systems; supervises and trains Path IT Help Desk staff; assists Manager and Director in tracking expenditures and maintaining budget; perform backup procedures; monitors Help Desk work queues and assigns work as appropriate; maintains Path IT documentation; assists the Manager and Director in maintaining Path IT servers. The incumbent will also perform other duties as assigned. Weekend hours may occasionally be necessary.
