Position Summary
The Grants Manager is a strategic leadership role at the Center for Behavioral Cardiovascular Health (CBCH), combining high-level oversight of research implementation with streamlined grants management. This position will ensure the timely, high-quality execution of the Center’s Research portfolio while modernizing and automating administrative workflows to maximize efficiency and align with evolving Department of Medicine structures. This role is ideal for a forward-thinking, solutions-driven leader who can balance the immediate needs of research projects with the long term goal of creating scalable, technology enabled processes – freeing staff time for higher-value scientific strategic work.

Minimum Qualifications
Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent in education, training and/or experience, plus a minimum of four years of related experience.
Other Requirements
Demonstrated leadership experience in multi-disciplinary project management.
Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with flexibility for early mornings, evenings or weekends, as needed.
Experience with process automation, workflow design, or digital transformation projects.
Familiarity with CUIMC/Columbia University systems (Rascal, InfoEd) and platforms like Qualtrics, FileMaker.
Experience in clinical research, project and personnel management.
Demonstrated ability to direct a multi-disciplinary or varied constituency group toward successful attainment of a common goal.
