Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Divisional Administrator, the Grants Coordinator will be a key member of our pre- and post-award team. S/he will coordinate the grant submission process for all sponsored projects and clinical trials, and will follow up with institutional offices appropriately to ensure compliance. The coordinator will serve as a knowledgeable point person for grant-related inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the grant submission process for all sponsored projects and clinical trials
• Develop budgets and coordinate progress reports
• Responsible for reviewing financial systems to ensure accuracy in grants setup, budgets, and project periods
• Follow up with SPA to ensure timely award setup in ARC
• Ensure that effort and time system is continuously monitored
• Liaise with central business offices such as SPA, SPF, Research Compliance, and CTO
• Administer pre- and post-award activities for research grants, contracts, and discretionary accounts
• Maintain detailed records of PIs’ other support, biosketches, and other grant submission documents
• Monitor revenue and expenses against budget projections for all clinical trials
• Attend meetings with PIs to review financial issues
• Assist with quarterly preparation of SOPs
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience, plus two years of related experience 

Other Qualifications

• Successful completion of applicable compliance and systems training requirements
