Position Summary
Reporting to the Manager for Communications and Events, and Associate Director for Program Strategy and Communication, the candidate will work independently and pro-actively towards planning, developing and editing written, graphic, and video content for distribution on multiple platforms including email, website, YouTube, and others.
The Irving Institute is home to Columbia University’s Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA), which was launched by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in 2006 and has expanded to over 50 academic medical institutions across the United States.
Subject to business needs, we may support flexible and hybrid work arrangements. Options will be discussed during the interview process.
Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent in education, training, and experience, plus two years of related experience.
Marketing and/or communication experience crafting promotional messaging. Experience with posting online content and general oversight of web content; plus understanding of social media platforms.
A cover letter, editorial writing sample, and one graphic design example of promotional content are required.
