The Desktop Support Technician will be responsible for all information systems administration, maintenance, and providing technical support to the Department of Emergency Medicine faculty and staff. This includes supporting multiple sites in New York City and Westchester, both in person and remotely.
Reporting to the Department Administrator, the Desktop Support Technician will be responsible for all aspects of systems administration including maintenance, upgrades, installation and configuration, printing systems, fundamentals of security, and installing third-party software, and the recommendation for purchasing of new hardware, and inventory control. The incumbent will also provide desktop, server, email, website support and technical assistance. Specific job duties will include, but not limited to:
