The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. Position Summary

This position provides computational image analysis support to faculty, staff, and trainees within the Radiology Department, specifically the CBIG and CIMBID groups. The role involves designing and data analysis of algorithms (e.g., segmentation, reconstruction), coding in Python/C++, performance optimization, and collaborating with scientists on applications such as disease-progression tracking or autonomous navigation.


Responsibilities

  • Analyze large, complex image datasets (e.g., microscopy, medical scans, satellite) to derive quantitative insights and correlate with clinical or experimental data.
  • Develop scalable pipelines to process large clinical datasets, manage image quality (QC), and ensure data consistency.
  • Assist in building custom software and scripts for image analysis, data management, and visualization.
  • Work with radiologists, clinicians, data scientists, and engineers to integrate tools into clinical workflows and research.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of research goals.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preferred bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or data science
  • MSc degree in related field
  • Prior experience in medical imaging research is preferred.
