The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Executive Director of Administrative Services the Coordinator will provide clerical and fiscal administrative support for the Department of Administrative Services. Administrative Services is comprised of Student & Administrative Mail, Print & Copier Services and Transportation.


Responsibilities

  • The Coordinator assists with accruals; performs duties related to A/P and A/R and works with vendors and the CUFO Finance office to resolve payment problems.
  • Responds to customer billing inquiries; assists in gathering employee timesheets; answers telephones and greets and directs visitors.
  • Responds to telephone and in-person inquiries; identifies and directs non-routine inquiries to appropriate office personnel as needed; provides support to officers; receives, tracks and distributes incoming and outgoing mail; schedules meetings; maintains and creates office file system and various databases (copier, transportation, etc.).
  • Operates and maintains office equipment, duplicating machine, facsimile, personal computers, printers, scanners etc.
  • Places orders and maintains office supply inventory.
  • Performs other ad hoc tasks as needed.             

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or its equivalent required.
  • Three years related experience required, preferably in a university office support setting with strong computer skills or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency with computer software necessary.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and Access.
  • Ability to learn other financial applications, e.g., ARC, and the University's Purchasing Policies and Procedures.
  • Must be a self starter, with discretion, confidentiality, diplomacy, strong analytical skills and the ability to meet deadlines is essential.             

Preferred Qualifications

  • Some college preferred.
