Position Summary

The Clinical Research Coordinator will work on studies related to lung disease. They will assist PI with the planning and implementation of several NIH and industry-funded studies.

Work involves assisting with participant recruitment and study visits, collecting biologic samples, and maintaining accurate and detailed data. The applicant will assist with communicating with the IRB, sponsor, CRO and FDA. Additional duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities

• Screen and enroll research study subjects
• Collect and process research samples and/or specimens
• Administer study questionnaires or diaries as per protocol
• Review documentation for completeness, accuracy and strict adherence to study protocol/guidelines
• Perform data entry functions and ensure data integrity and consistency
• Communicate with the IRB, sponsor, CRO and FDA
• Perform additional related duties as needed

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience, plus two years of related experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certificate/training

Other Requirements

• Participation in the medical surveillance program
• Contact with patients and/or human research subject
• Potential bloodborne pathogen exposure
• Successful completion of applicable systems training requirements
