Position Summary

The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) will provide support for research activities in the Division of Nephrology, for a grant funded multicenter study in kidney transplantation.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in the identification and recruitment of eligible participants.
  • Extract clinical data from medical records.
  • Collaborate on research activity across multiple research sites (transplant centers and dialysis facilities).
  • Travel to local study sites to recruit patients and deliver study intervention.
  • Maintain detailed study files and database and ensure data quality, integrity and compliance with all regulatory, institutional, and departmental requirements.
  • Work with the regulatory manager to submit new protocols, amendments, renewals, and other regulatory submissions to IRB and other regulatory bodies.
  • Assist with data analysis and preparation of grant reports.
  • Participate in conference calls and research meetings on a regular basis.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned by the principal investigator including work on other clinical studies.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education, training and experience, plus two years of related experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Spanish language skills

Other Requirements

  • Participation in the medical surveillance program due to contact with patients and/or human research subjects
  • Successful completion of applicable compliance and systems training requirements
