Position Summary
We are seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator I for the center of Excellence for Alzheimer's Disease in the Taub Institute. The coordinator will report to the respective PI and will be responsible for the administration and coordination of the NYS Center of Excellence for Alzheimer's Disease (CEAD) at Columbia University.
Responsibilities
The CRC I will arrange and schedule CEAD organizational and team meetings, interface with and schedule patient visits in English and Spanish, and work with the nurse practitioner, social worker, and physicians to ensure that persons from underrepresented populations with cognitive complaints are served according to the aims of the CEAD.
The CRC I will perform outreach out to various organizations in the five boroughs of New York City, according to the mandate of the CEAD, to develop programs, with agendas and scheduling, for training and education events.
The CRC I will create and maintain IRB submissions as required, and perform data management with respect to patient visits, and educational and training events, maintaining spreadsheets and data structures, and generating the quarterly reports for New York State.
Other administrative duties will be performed as required.
Minimum Qualifications
Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience, plus three years of related experience.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
