Position Summary
The Clinical Laboratory Technologist-EM Electron Microscopy Ultra Thin Sectioning will work in the Renal Histopathology Laboratory performing a wide range of histology techniques including but not limited to tissue processing, embedding; tissue sectioning including paraffin and frozen, and EM electron microscopy (EM) ultrathin sections; staining (H&E, specials, IHC, and IF) and cover-slipping. The incumbent will analyze, resolve, and troubleshoot day-to-day laboratory tasks as needed, as well as facilitate troubleshooting and resolution of routine technical issues. This role will also assist in setting up, evaluating, and trouble-shooting new techniques, policies, and procedures and assist in the training of new hires and other Support Staff employees.
