Position Summary
The Division of Gynecologic Specialty Surgery in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Columbia University Medical Center is comprised of 8 physicians, 3 fellows, and 3 nurse practitioners practicing in two unique sections: Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery and Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery (Urogynecology). We provide comprehensive gynecologic care, exploring different diagnostic and treatment options to treat and manage Gynecologic and Urogynecologic problems, from fibroids to incontinence. Our providers work with each patient to design an individualized care management plan, from routine testing to the most advanced diagnosis and treatment for women of all ages. We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team in providing outstanding care for our patients.
The Clinical Coordinator / RN will assist physicians in all treatments and procedures, perform preoperative patient interviews and assessments including pre-op instructions, post-operative patient care and instructions, prepare and administer prescribed medications and treatment in accordance with standards. They will report to the Division Administrator, Gynecologic Specialty Surgery.
