Position Summary
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Associate Director of Business Development is responsible for the overall leadership, business development, implementation, management and sustainable growth of non-credit, executive education and lifelong learning programs at The Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science. The incumbent will be responsible for developing external partnerships, initiating and managing business development opportunities to create new education courses and programs and successfully managing client relationships.
The Associate Director will be responsible for strategic marketing and outreach campaigns and program execution and delivery. The incumbent will work closely with faculty, partners and stakeholders to determine and implement programs that serve the needs of working professionals and content that evolves with marketplace demand.
Responsibilities
(40%) Business Development
Analyzes trends and compiles data to determine new executive education offerings
Identifies, qualifies and closes potential partnerships and education opportunities for workforce education and related strategic initiatives
Identifies and secures corporate sector partnerships
Champions new opportunities, working collaboratively to execute plans for developing new business, maintaining existing client relationships, and developing new business products and models
Prepares Memorandums of Understanding and program proposals(40%) Program Management
Manages outreach, admissions operations, and enrollment for executive education programs
Communicates proactively with current and prospective executive education partners
Conducts research to determine new program offerings, planning and administration of new initiatives.
Establishes and enforces admissions and enrollment policies and procedures for executive education programs
Compiles weekly status updates on prospective and existing executive education programs
Prepared financial reports, reviews and reports on KPIs
Develops evaluation metrics to determine program effectiveness
Serves as the primary point of contact for executive education and lifelong learning programs(10%) Marketing and Outreach
Utilizes technology, public speaking skills, and all presentation materials to deliver effective multimedia presentations to promote the offerings
Collaborates with colleagues to design and implement strategic marketing and social media campaigns
Maintains the School’s executive education program website
Reviews marketing materials for all executive education programs
Coordinates and hosts virtual and on-campus information sessions, open house events and immersions
Participates in recruitment travel as needed.Minimum Qualifications
