Position Summary
The Department of Biomedical Informatics (DBMI) at Columbia University is seeking an Analytics Developer who will work under the direction of the Vice Chair of Services, Department of Biomedical Informatics (DBMI). The Analytics Developer will serve as the Clinical Data Navigator (CDN) for DBMI and other departments (as necessary) and will be active in investigating the analytic and research data needs of the DBMI. This position will require the candidate to design, create, and maintain data structures, reports, dashboards, and related data extracts from various institutional data sources such as Epic and CUIMC’s legacy electronic health records. In addition to development work, this position requires the candidate to work with end-users to understand analytic and research data needs and both scope and document technical specifications for requests.
Hybrid Schedule: Subject to business needs, we may support flexible and hybrid work arrangements. Options will be discussed during the interview process.
Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, analytics, information systems, statistics, plus three years of related experience.
