Position Summary
The Admissions Counselor will work closely with the Associate Director of Admissions to uphold and strengthen the integrity of the admissions process from application through enrollment for the Mailman School of Public Health’s growing set of offerings. The Admissions Counselor screens applications and updates recommended decisions for the specified programs. Will meet and counsel prospective applicants in-person and/or virtually on application process throughout the school year. Maintain and update using common application system (WebAdmit) and Columbia’s Student Information System (SIS). Assist with corresponding with prospective applicants, applicants and newly admitted students via School Inbox on CRM (Slate). Support events of the Office of Enrollment Management as needed.
