Position Summary
Reporting to the Director of Academic Administration and Finance, the incumbent provides administrative and clerical support to the Department of Slavic Languages . The incumbent communicates, both verbally and in writing, with individuals at all levels, including students, faculty, scholars and visitors; refers non-routine inquiries to appropriate staff or faculty.

Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office, Email, Scanning, Basic Internet Search
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills required. Ability to work in a busy department office serving faculty, administrators, and students with confidentiality, patience, and tact, and the ability to manage concurrent projects on varying deadlines with minimal supervision required. Excellent proofreading skills necessary. Strong attention to detail required
