The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Position Summary

Summary: Reporting to the Assistant Finance Manager, assist in the processing and administration of royalties and subsidiary rights, as well as other administrative and office duties.  


  • Process all invoices relating to book, subscriptions consortium and subsidies
  • Review expense reports
  • Set up author accounts in Acumen
  • Upload all sub rights journal entries into Acumen
  • Assist with the annual royalty distribution in April.
  • Update authors and vendors with current W9/8Ben, and bank information
  • Assisting with 1099 distribution in January
  • Respond to royalty inquiries
  • Collecting aged accounts receivable
  • Other administrative and office duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business preferred. Up to two years related accounting and office experience.  

Preferred Qualifications:

    • Highly motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to complete projects in a timely manner. 
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
    • The ability to successfully prioritize, multitask and work independently.
    • Ability to initiate and manage projects, and adapt to a changing business environment.
    • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft word and excel required, Acumen preferred.
