Position Summary

Reporting to the Principal Investigator, the Project Coordinator II will be responsible for overseeing a National Institutes of Health (NIH) funded study and its related sub-studies. 


  • Responsible for IRB preparation, drafting, and editing
  • Oversee for patient information organization and maintenance
  • Coordinate specimen tracking and maintenance including communication with lab staff
  • Provide research staff training and supervision in the conduct of clinic visits, appointment scheduling, completion of follow up calls to maintain participant retention, and other assigned duties
  • Assure that all components of the clinic visit are completed with adherence to the protocol and manual of procedures
  • Responsible for reporting and communicating with central coordinating centers and assuring general quality control
  • Perform additional related duties as needed

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience, plus three years of related experience
  • Close attention to detail as well as strong communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database system

Preferred Qualifications

  • License to administer albuterol in New York (RN, RT, EMS) a plus

Other Requirements

  • Participation in the medical surveillance program
  • Contact with patients and/or human research subjects
